Service Description

30-minute pre-recorded Sunshine Session is customized to gently awaken your body and spirit and welcome the day that's ahead of you. Crack a grin by saying out loud right now, "sunshine session", three times fast. In this session, expect to complete Surya Namaskar (Colonially known as Sun Salutation) three times. The first round is completed at a super slow pace so your mind and body can ease into today. Subsequent rounds are gently sped up. This practice is for any person, at any level of yoga practice, any mood you're in. Few words are spoken, aside from concise cues and reminders to breathe. Items to gather for maximum benefit: a strap/belt, blocks/big-ass canned tomatoes, speaker with good sound/headphones/earbuds, and a mat/carpeted area/comfortable space. You can help yourself take your brain out of fight or flight/sympathetic state by taking the steps to practice in a private space and without interruption. And hey, You're being kind to yourself just by reading to this point. You deserve to start today feeling even 1% better than you did yesterday. Cancellation Policy

Despite its many benefits, refrain from performing Surya/Chandra Namaskar (Sun/Moon Salutation) and any other yoga practices/sessions/postures taught by Armonia Yoga & Art Therapy/Kristina Selby-Brown if you are: 1) A person with any type of heart condition or a person with high blood pressure you should consult a doctor before practicing yoga. 2) A person with back injuries/problems/unusual soreness, it is best for you to practice yoga under a yoga teacher’s guidance, in-person. 3) Since yoga involves knee movements, perform it with caution if you are a person with arthritis, existing/old knee-injury, sore knees, or any other problem with your knees. 4) People who have any type of hernia should consult a doctor before practicing yoga. 5) If you have any wrist injury, practicing yoga could aggravate your injury. 6) Pregnant people can safely practice yoga in variations to postures NOT taught in this, or any other session on this website. To safely practice yoga, please email armoniayogatherapy@gmail.com for referrals to yoga teachers who specialise teaching yoga to pregnant people. 7) If you are a person who is on their period/moon cycle, Surya/Chandra Namaskar, as well as other yoga postures should be avoided. 8) Kristina Selby-Brown of Armonia Yoga & Art Therapy cannot be held liable for any injury, physical or otherwise, that may arise while you are practicing yoga instructed by Kristina Selby-Brown.
