Hello, I'm Kristina

I am committed to empower the people I teach to live in their authenticity by promoting self-love when they are healing from one or a combination of: grief, addiction, unhealed trauma, states of high-stress, depression and/or anxiety. My own odyssey through grief, depression and adversity is what led me to begin teaching the ancient practice of breath work and alignment-based Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and then Restorative & Yin Yoga within a trauma-informed and therapeutic space. The benefits I felt practicing yoga during my own healing process, left an impressionable mark on me five koshas deep. I endeavor for my students too, to experience relief and a unification of their heart, spirit, body and mind.

Why Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy is a holistic approach to healing that utilizes a variety of practices, such as asanas, pranayama and meditation to address specific spiritual/physical/mental/emotional conditions or concerns.

A tailored customized protocol unique to the needs and goals of each client is created by the yoga therapist by gathering physical and energetic data through observation, palpation, and intuitive sensing to determine the most potent place to begin the session.

Protocols are offered through a trauma-informed lens and from a place of genuine presence.

If you're still reading and you're wondering what does "five-koshas-deep" mean, I implore you to click here to watch a 30 second video explaining how yoga therapists work to understand which kosha may be most out of balance and then how you can be assisted with nudging what is ready to shift.
